inspired: kicha's photostream

I found Kicha's photostream randomly on flickr. There's a lot great stuff, especially historical photos of African Americans I've never heard of before. It's sort of a great visual history lesson. I only picked three images that spoke to me, click here to see more. 1. Tennessee Town Kindergarten. A group photo of kindergarten children and teachers celebrating George Washington's birthday, Topeka, Kansas.  2. St. Louis Blues, stars Ruby Dee, as the sweet natured good girl (dressed in white), and Eartha Kitt, as the mean bad girl (dressed in black). 3. Warrior Women. Mary McLeod Bethune, Ida B. Wells, Nannie Burroughs and other women at a Baptist Women's gathering, in Chicago.
