Yesterday, I completed jury duty. I know most people try to get out of it, but I actually enjoyed the process. I found it to be a privilege to serve as a juror. And I do feel confident the our justice system is as fair as it can be. In no other country is a person presumed innocent. And I think people are good at their core and no one wants to send an innocent person to prison. For my particular case we deliberated for at least five hours. Everyone wanted to make the right decision based on evidence from the prosecutor. In the end we found the defendant guilty. Now, I will look at Law and Order with a different perspective.
Here I will be posting observations and inspirations related to design, magazines, fashion, food, Paris, and sunny days.
For my day job I am the deputy art director at Country Living magazine. I've worked at Interior Design, Fortune Small Business, and Domino magazines.
